Joan Vassos sparkled on the Oct. 2 episode of The Golden Bachelorette, and if her dress for the rose ceremony looked familiar, there's a reason.

Vassos wore a Randi Rahm design — the Lavender Diamond Gown, to be exact — to hand out the roses to her Golden Bachelors, and the light purple dress featured a plunging neckline and hand-placed Swarovski crystals dotted all over.

Rahm took to YouTube on Oct. 3 to give more details on the dress, revealing that the thousands of crystals actually take 600-700 hours to place on the dress. She also provided and up-close look at the gown, showing off how it sparkles in the light and just how delicate the piece is.

Rahm provided a red carpet history on the look as well, as the striking silhouette — rightfully so — that has been worn by many celebrities before Vassos rocked it on this season of the ABC dating show. She noted that Beyoncé once wore the dress, which she did in 2005 for the Wall Street Concert Series in New York City, where she performed (though in a different dress). The Grammy-winner's Randi Rahm gown was pearly white and silver, and she added a pop of color with purple eyeshadow. It was 2005, after all!

Mariah Carey also wore the dress in 2005, and her gown looked almost exactly like Beyoncé's but in a brighter white. While Beyoncé's dress had more of a nude undertone, Carey's dress shone bright in a crisp white (perfect for the wintry queen who loves Christmas!).

But perhaps the most impressive version of Rahm's diamond gown was the one Maria Menounos wore to the Oscars in 2004. Rahm created the custom piece for the actress to wear to the awards show, and it was adorned with real diamonds. The gown was estimated to be worth $2.5 million, thanks to all its dazzling jewels.

Menounos' version of the gown had less tulle, in order to show off the diamonds properly, and was in a champagne shade. She accessorized with even more jewels and wore a pair of strappy heels.

During the Golden Bachelorette rose ceremony, where Vassos properly showed off her sparkling dress, she sent three more men packing in her quest to find love again (after previous Golden Bachelor Gerry Turner made an appearance to help her figure out what her heart wanted).

The Golden Bachelorette airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
