Gleyber Torres is taking his talents to the Midwest.
The now ex-Yankee second baseman is signing a contract with the Detroit Tigers, The Post’s Jon Heyman first reported Friday.
Torres will head to the Tigers on a one year $15 million contract, The Post’s Joel Sherman confirms.
Torres, 28, had been looking for a new contract from the Yankees as one of their more durable players, having appeared in 158 and 154 games, respectively, over the last two seasons.
