Gisele Bündchen reportedly told ex-husband Tom Brady about her pregnancy before the news made headlines.
Sources close to expectant supermodel told TMZ Monday that she “informed Tom and their two children that she was pregnant with Joaquim Valente’s child before the news broke.”
However, it’s “unclear” how long the former NFL player and their kids knew about her pregnancy.
Bündchen, 44, and Brady are co-parents to son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11.
People was first to report the news of Bündchen’s pregnancy.
“Gisele and Joaquim are happy for this new chapter in their life,” a source close to the couple told the outlet.
“They’re looking forward to creating a peaceful and loving environment for the whole family.”
The news of Bündchen’s bun in the oven comes exactly two years after she and Brady, 47, announced their divorce after 13 years of marriage.
The exes tied the knot in 2009 months before their son, Benjamin, was born.
That same year, Bündchen spoke to Harper’s Bazaar about wanting to “have a big family.”
“My parents have been together for 36 years, and that is what I want,” she said. “I am in that place. It’s all good in that part of my life. It’s one part of my life that I’m learning about every day. I’ve been challenged a lot by it, but it’s the most rewarding part.”
Bündchen and Valente sparked dating rumors in November 2022 but their relationship didn’t become romantic until June 2023.
Earlier this year, a source told Page Six the couple is “deeply in love” and stays together regularly.
Two weeks ago, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel was photographed seemingly trying to hide her baby bump while leaving a pilates class in Miami Beach.
Bündchen rocked a baggy crewneck sweater and black leggings while carrying an oversized bag in front of her torso. She also kept a low profile with a black hat.
Brady has yet to publicly address his ex-wife’s pregnancy.
However, hours after news broke, he shared a cryptic post on his Instagram Story with The Chicks’ cover of “Landslide.”
