Gia took to Amazon Live on June 3, where she showed off her favorite gifts for Father's Day. The Real Housewives of New Jersey daughter was then taken by surprise when Joe called into the livestream to have the cutest conversation with Gia, who could not believe it was actually happening. "Is this for real?" Gia asked before he hopped on the call.
"Hi Gia," Joe said, appearing on a video call with his daughter. "I'm so proud of you, I've been listening to you over here, you're so cute."
She then proceeded to start crying. "That was so unexpected," Gia said. "That was so cute, I didn't even know he knew how to do that."
"You're going to make me tear," Joe said, wiping the tears from his eyes. He also admitted that he would be tuning in to watch Gia on Next Gen NYC.
Joe Giudice shares an update on his life from the Bahamas
During the livestream, Joe offered a new look at his life today in the Bahamas. "Everything's good," he said. "You know, just working, doing everything you need to do to get by in life, that's it. You do the best you can."
Joe also revealed that he recently grew a beard, which Gia doesn't mind at all. "You actually do look good with the beard," she told him. "As long as you clean it up and don't let it get too long, it looks good."

No, Gia will not be in the Bahamas this year for Father's Day. But her younger sister, Milania Giudice, will be. "I usually do see him on Father's Day, but I'm gonna be away," Gia admitted.

During the live stream, Gia admitted that she only sees Joe around "four times" a year, when she goes to visit him. But when she does visit him, it's very hard for her to say goodbye.
During an April 3 episode of her podcast, Casual Chaos with Gia Giudice, Gia revealed that she and her sisters maintain a very active relationship with their dad. "I mean, we go visit him, but it's not the same as having your father present," she said. "It's definitely rough even now. I actually just got back from visiting him. Arriving in the Bahamas is always so amazing. Leaving is the hardest part."
"I don't think the tears will ever end," she added.
