Gia Giudice Exposes the Truth Behind RHONJ Cast: The Real Reason They Put Her on the Show, Hidden 'Childish' Criticisms, and Are They Jealous of Her Special Bond with Mom Teresa?

RHONJ's Gia Giudice Shades "Insecure" Haters Labeling Her a "Kid," Suspects They're Jealous of Relationship With Mom, and Slams Cast for Bringing Her Up on Show, Plus Says She's Never Disrespectful as Teresa Calls Out Double-StandardGia Giudice is speaking out against those who continue to refer to her as a “kid.”

Months after her aunt, Melissa Gorga, 45, referred to her as a “child” on The Real Housewives of New Jersey and said it was “so weird” that she commented on the drama of the show, Gia, 23, appeared on mom Teresa Giudice‘s podcast, where the two of them discussed her involvement.

“With having my back, it’s so crazy like how people say on the show that I’m on, they reference you as a kid. You’re not a kid. You’re an adult. You’re 23 years old,” Teresa began on the September 4 episode of Turning the Tables.

“That’s not the case. Obviously, I’ve now graduated from college. I’m two years out of college. I’m working. I’m very much an adult,” Gia agreed.

According to Gia, she believes that those who have labeled her a “kid” are “very insecure and jealous.”

“They’re jealous because they don’t have somebody like me on their side,” she suspected. “[And] they’re probably jealous of our relationship and how I have your back. And how I do shut people down because I’m very quick and smart with my words. And I know what to say in situations.”

Looking back on her role in recent seasons of RHONJ, Gia said that a lot of her involvement in the drama hasn’t been her doing, but the doing of the cast.

“A lot of these women have involved me, have involved my name in things. So sure, I could just sit back and not say anything, or I can say something and also clarify everything,” she noted. “Whatever anybody’s opinion is, I’ve never been disrespectful, and I’ve always voiced my opinion, and I’ve always had my mother’s back… If anybody sees that as wrong… that’s very odd to me.”

“Anybody would want our situation. I’m sure every mother wants their kid to back them up and vice versa,” Gia added.

Meanwhile, Teresa cited a double standard with Caroline Manzo, 63, and her children, Albie Manzo, 38, Lauren Manzo, 36, and Chris Manzo, 35.

“When Caroline Manzo was on the show and Lauren was backing her up, everyone was like, ‘Oh my God, that’s so great, Lauren, that you’re backing up your mother,’” she recalled.

“And the Manzos are very involved. They were in their 20s,” Gia replied. “They were in the same situation as I was. The Manzos have even come out and said, ‘I see nothing wrong with Gia defending her mother,’ because they did the same thing for their mother.”

“They all probably want their kids to do what I’m doing. They just get weird because I’m very good with my words and I don’t play bullsh*t,” she continued.

Gia then stated that while Teresa takes “a little bit to think about [things]” and fires off later, she fires “right on the spot.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is currently on pause ahead of its 15th season.
