Teresa Giudice handled her instantly infamous WGNTV Chicago news interview “perfectly,” according to her daughter Gia Giudice.

During an episode of The Viall Files, the Next Gen NYC personality set the record straight on “this whole narrative that we just don’t pay our taxes.”

The apple doesn’t fall far from the Tre:

The oldest dorter of the Real Housewives of New Jersey star finds the situation “comical.” But, she feels badly for her mom. “She’s been busting her *ss and paying everything since she got out [of prison].”

“People think they know, still to this day, and they don’t,” Gia continued. “I know, quite frankly, people want her to just set the record straight but, honestly, it’s nobody else’s business.”

Gia got a chuckle at how “frazzled” her mom got when trying to hang up from the interview. The Rutgers grad said her mom “barely knows how to film her Cameos” and is “not tech savvy in any way.”

ICYMI the instantly iconic interview Teresa struggled to log off of:

While promoting Teresa’s gig at Zanie’s last month, WGNTV host Larry Potash, prepared the RHONJ star for her appearance … by asking a shady question. (But, truly, what the people want to know!)

“How is it that a family doesn’t pay their taxes for years?” asked the anchor.

Teresa’s face didn’t move, but she started blinking quickly. “Whose … fambily are you talking about?” wondered Teresa.

“Your family.” Larry Potash didn’t let the mouse go. “Is that what the fraud charges were?”

“Ok. I’m hanging up,” declared Teresa. “That’s it.”

Dripping with shade, WGNTV’s anchor mocked the House of Villains contestant. “Oh. She didn’t like that question.”

Later, Teresa slammed “disrespectful” Larry Potash for attacking her.
