Gia Giudice is clearly utilizing Real Housewives of New Jersey Season Season 14 as her chance to audition to lead the next era of the show. She’s getting confessionals, showing up to group events — the whole nine yards. Gia’s also apparently not afraid to get in the mess. She may have gotten that from her mama Teresa Giudice, plus an affinity for the spotlight.
Gia appeared in the latest episode of RHONJ during Jennifer Aydin’s puppy party. Obviously, the conversation turned to the extreme tension between Luis Ruelas and John Fuda these days. While Gia unsurprisingly defended her family, she did reveal an interesting tidbit about her dynamic with her stepdad.
Gia called Luis out
During the scene, Dolores Catania put in her two cents about John and Luis. She believed that the two men should speak alone rather than in the group, especially if they were planning on having a showdown during her charity baseball game. Gia agreed, suggesting they have a chat in the locker room prior to the first pitch.
While Tre tried to convince the table that Luis was going to behave no matter what, Gia piped in about Luis’ behavior on the show. “Luis, I’m telling you, he’s a really, really good guy,” Gia said “He said things, and I’ve looked at him now, and I’m like, ‘Lou, that’s not the person that you are. These people are just making you go crazy.’” So it sounds like Gia hasn’t been afraid to call out Luis’ bad behavior in the past. It seems like it’s about time someone did it.

Gia also wasn’t shy when telling her parents what she thought about certain events on the show and her feelings about them, recently expressing disappointment with her uncle amid the still ongoing discord between him and mom Teresa. So it should come as no surprise that when it comes to stepfather Luis Ruelas, Gia is also not holding back. On a recent episode of the show, Gia was sitting with some of the other cast members, including Jennifer Aydin, Dolores Catania, and Jackie Goldschneider, when the subject of Luis and the feud with Rachel Fuda and John Fuda came up.
Fans will remember that at the last reunion, John told Luis that he had also hired a private detective in response to Luis' intimation that he had got files on all the cast members from a private investigator. Many fans felt that Luis’ response to John and other cast members was aggressive and threatening and did not paint him in a flattering light.
