The RHOBH cast member celebrated the birth by sharing a glimpse at her new granddaughter, Valley Marie-Claire.
here’s a new addition to Garcelle Beauvais’ family.
On Friday, January 31, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member confirmed her oldest son, Oliver Saunders, had welcomed baby No. 2. Garcelle celebrated the arrival by resharing a sweet Instagram post in which Oliver and his girlfriend, Shantei Paranada, gave a few details about their baby girl’s birth.
“Valley Marie-Claire Saunders,” read the post, which included a photo of the infant’s little toes. “January 31, 2025, 6 pounds 2 ounces, 20 inches.”
Garcelle took to the comments section to leave a series of heart emojis, while her RHOBH castmate Sutton Stracke wrote that she couldn’t “wait to meet her!!!”

As you might recall, Sutton hosted Oliver and Shantei’s baby shower in her Bel-Air backyard, which was decorated with a beautiful balloon arch and table settings with floral-pattern china, rose centerpieces, and pink-hued glassware.
Garcelle shared a peek at the celebration in a November 12, 2024, Reel.
“It’s the little things and the joy they bring!” she captioned the post. “We celebrated this past weekend with family and friends. We are welcoming our little Valley Marie Claire Saunders into the world soon. She is already so loved!! thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate.”
Although Valley Marie-Claire marks Oliver and Shantei’s first child together, they also have kids from previous relationships. Shantei has two daughters — 4-year-old Siena and 5-year-old Sundae — while Oliver has a 4-year-old son, Oliver Saunders Jr.
Shortly after his baby girl’s arrival, Oliver shared a handful of photos from Shantei and Valley Marie-Claire’s hospital stay. One of the shots showed him holding the newborn in his arm as Oliver Jr., sat on his lap.
“My babies,” he wrote in the Story.
But the adorable baby content didn't stop there. On February 1, Garcelle returned to Instagram to post a few photos of her feeding the newborn while Oliver Jr. sat beside her.
“Love at first sight!!! My heart is so full,” she wrote. “Congratulations [Oliver] and [Shantei].”

Oliver and Shantei spoke about their blended-family life in a July 2024 episode of the former’s Bigger Than Us podcast
“I’ve heard horror stories on how it’s hard to blend a family and make sure everybody gets along and forcing children to live with other children and to like their stepparents,” Shantei said. “With us, it has been the most easiest experience I’ve ever, ever, ever dealt with. These children love you. I love OJ. You love my kids. It’s all perfect."
Oliver then explained how he approached dating as a single father, saying his mom, Garcelle, was a great example.
“She would never bring anybody around me that she was dating until it was completely serious,” he said. “And even if it was serious, she would say to me, ‘For any reason you do not like this person, you let me know. This will be the last time you see this person.’ And that made me feel so comfortable and so loved as a kid… the fact that she was going to put me first no matter what.”
