A FOX NFL Sunday star has sent a strong message to Tom Brady over his debut season as an NFL analyst for the network.
Brady enjoyed the first year of his 10-year, $375 million broadcasting contract with Fox in the 2024 NFL season.
The New England Patriots icon Brady served as Fox's No. 1 game analyst and had early struggles on the job, among them misidentifying players at times.
But Brady improved as the year went along and his former Pats teammate and current Fox colleague Rob Gronkowski agrees with that assertion.
Gronkowski, who is a contributor to Fox NFL Sunday, said that he's "so proud" of the "excellent job" Brady did alongside play-by-play broadcaster Kevin Burkhardt.
"He has definitely improved as well since his first couple games, which is understandable," he said to On3.com before last month's Super Bowl in a newly-published article.
"I mean, it's such a tough job to do; there's so much pressure on you.
"You never called a game ever, for that long in your life, to be up in that booth and break down plays like that.
"But as you get better as you go on, and that's all... I expect nothing less from Tom Brady as well, to get better because he loves to practice good habits, he loves to get better.
"... And just to see his improvement from week one to where he is in the playoffs now is just tremendous, didn't expect anything else.
"And he's done such a great job in the playoffs; it's like he's a veteran now."
Brady received praise for his broadcasting work in the playoffs, especially in the Philadelphia Eagles' win over the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship.
And he got rave reviews for his analysis during the Super Bowl that saw the Eagles clobber the Kansas City Chiefs last month.
Brady isn't just focused on his broadcast work.
He's also a minority owner for the Las Vegas Raiders.
Due to his NFL ownership, Brady isn't allowed to attend practices of other teams or appear at pre-game production meetings.
The 47-year-old also isn't allowed to publicly criticize refs or other teams.
Brady was part of the Raiders' process to hire head coach Pete Carroll and general manager John Spytek.
Earlier this month, the team traded for Pro Bowl quarterback Geno Smith.
And Brady and the Raiders handed star pass rusher Maxx Crosby a three-year, $106.5 million contract extension.
