Former NHL-Defenseman brutally calls out Matt Rempe along with giving him a harsh label

Former NHL defenseman brutally attacks New York Rangers fan favourite enforcer for his unique style of play and labels him as possibly one of the worst players in the league.

Thursday night, the New York Rangers faced off against the New Jersey Devils, which prompted former NHL defenseman Jordan Schmaltz to attack Matt Rempe and label him as the worst player in the league.

It's obviously no secret that the New York Rangers have been struggling this season, but they certainly put up a solid performance against the Devils with a 3-2 win in overtime.

Before the game, Matt Rempe faced the media and revealed that he must change his style of play as he is now a «marked man».

"I've got to be a lot smarter, I don't have to make every hit if that makes sense. I gotta still play my game but also, like, it can't happen again or else it's going to be a huge suspension."I'm a marked man right now. I've got to keep it clean."

Definitely a huge aspect of Rempe's game so for him to just completely change that it will take some time and effort. As for Thursday night Rempe was practically invisible, proven he needs to work on his speed and skills.

However, The Ex-NHL defenseman Jordan Schmaltz didn't mince his words when attacking Rempe for his game, saying he could be one of the worst players in the entire league.

Here's what he said in his own words:

"I say this with all due respect, which is always followed by something very disrespectful, but is Matt Rempe pound for pound, skill for skill, the worst hockey player in the entire league? Look the kid can chuck em. He's nails. But my god the puck skills and skating aren't perfect."

Definitely a harsh thing to say considering the youngster is still leading his way but it is time for Matt Rempe to step it up and change his style. If that doesn't happen, his NHL career could be very short lived.
