A source claims a Summer House cast shakeup is looming as more departures are coming to the cast.
On Thursday, Paige DeSorbo announced she quit the show. Many fans were shocked, though she’s hinted in the past that she’s outgrowing the ‘party’ premise. In many episodes, Paige proudly stayed in bed while her castmates went out to drink.
And then on Friday, Lexi Wood, also revealed her departure from the Bravo hit series following just one season.
According to a report from Deuxmoi, which was put out before Paige and Lexi announced their exits, a cast “shake-up” is looming as Gabby Prescod and Imrul Hassan will not be asked back. The report also revealed that Lexi would not be asked back before Lexi announced her departure.
Meanwhile, the source also hinted at the fate of Lindsay Hubbard, who recently gave birth to her first child.
“If the buzz is true, things are about to get very interesting. We’ve got it on good authority that a certain fan-favorite is reportedly ready to sail off into the sunset, with a statement about their departure expected soon,” said the account, seemingly alluding to Paige’s recent announcement.
“And that’s not all!” the account added. “Our sources are telling us that Gabby, Lexi, and Imrul are allegedly not getting asked back for the upcoming season. Meanwhile, it sounds like Lindsay will be making appearances here and there, but for now, nothing is confirmed about her full-time involvement.”
As for Carl, he recently confirmed he will be returning in a statement to the @cici.loves.you Instagram account.
“I did NOT write or post anything about leaving the show because I am not leaving the show,” wrote Carl, seemingly responding to a fake post circulating about him.
On a June 5 Instagram post, Paige revealed her exit from the show.
“I have a little life update for you: I’ve made the decision not to return to Summer House,” she said. “Being a part of this show has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my life — the friendships, the drama, the giggles, all unforgettable. You’ve seen me grow up over these last [seven] summers. I’ll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me. But like all good things (and some bad decisions), it’s time for this chapter to close.”
“I never could’ve imagined what this journey would turn into — and how many of you would be along for the ride. And you haven’t seen the last of me, I promise,” Paige added. “So much more to do together, but for now you know you can always find me and Daphne in my bed.”
