Filip Chytil opens up about his mysterious injury after finally returning to the Rangers lineup

The New York Rangers faced off against the Montreal Canadiens this afternoon at 1PM, where the Rangers managed to put an end to their five-game losing streak.

As the Rangers took a 4-3 victory, thanks to Kaapo Kakko scoring the game winning goal with 22 seconds left in the third period.

 

 

However, During this mornings meeting with the press, Peter Laviolette has confirmed that both forwards, Chytil and Kreider will be returning to the New York Rangers lineup this afternoon.

 

Filip Chytil, the 25-year old center has missed seven straight game after suffering an unidentified upper body injury.

After colliding with defensemen K'Andre Miller back in November 14th when the Rangers faced the San Jose Sharks.

 

 

Following the game Filip Chytil spoke to the press about making his return to the Rangers lineup, here's what he had to say:

 

He then answered a few questions regarding the relief of not sustaining another head injury:

«I know myself. I know my head a lot. Nobody knows it more than myself. So when I felt it could be better and it was going well, it was nice.»
