Danielle Olivera addressed her “friendship breakup” with Lindsay Hubbard, shading her for not “reaching out” amid her split with boyfriend Robert Sieber. Lindsay soon clapped back, sharing why she didn’t contact her and suggesting Danielle was a “bad friend.”
The rift between these former besties is still largely a mystery in the current season of Summer House, though a trailer indicated that trouble is on its way.
In an interview for the Bravo By Betches podcast, Danielle addressed her “friendship breakup” with Lindsay.
“You know, it’s hard because we have to watch it back. And if this were any other friendship breakup, we wouldn’t have a TV show to watch back,” said Danielle.
She expressed, “Either you’re going to reach out or you’re not. It bothers me that we haven’t gotten to that point yet, of reaching out, especially what’s going on with my personal life with Robert.”
Danielle added, “I thought there was a hope that maybe she’d be like, ‘Hey, I know we’re not in a good place right now, we’re not speaking, but I just want to let you know that I heard what was going on, and I’m here for you.'”
“But no,” shared the star. “She’s planning a wedding, so.”
Lindsay reacted to a clip of the interview, which was shared by @bravobybetches on Instagram. She revealed why she didn’t make contact.
“No.. I didn’t reach out because I wasn’t ready to forgive all the things she did and said over summer,” wrote Lindsay on March 1.
“She made it clear she was not in support of my growth & happiness,” continued the 36-year-old. “You cannot be a bad friend to someone and then expect them to be a supportive friend back to you. Makes no sense. Sorry.”
