"He actually tried to catch up for a coffee and I said no," Carina revealed.

Carina continued: "I was like, I'm so busy leading up to us all catching up, I was running around, it was a really busy time in Sydney," she said.
She clarified what their post-MAFS relationship is like now by explaining: "We don't speak every day, we're obviously quite civil though."
"We just message back and forth on Instagram every now and then. That's it, nothing crazy," she added.
"I wish him all the best and wish he finds the girl that's meant to be for him. We're just friends, there's no bad blood at all."
In between catching up with the girls, Australian Fashion Week appearances and now starting a podcast, the bride has certainly embraced the post-MAFS wave.
"I feel like my life has changed so abruptly," said Carina. "It's been a whirlwind of a ride and I'm so grateful and lucky."
And just as Carina is happy to put the drama behind her, so is Paul as the groom opened up about their relationship in an Instagram Q&A.
"Have you and Carina gotten back together after the show?" one fan asked.
"No we haven't," Paul replied. We both went our separate ways. The good thing is there is no hard feelings between her and I. We are on speaking terms, which is good."
Paul said he only wishes Carina the best.
"I know she's happy and I'm also happy. In the end, it's all good," he smiled.
As for his dating life? Paul said: "I'm sure there is someone out there for me, but I'm not in a rush for anything."
In fact, the groom has some exciting projects in the works. He also catches up regularly with the grooms including Dave, Adrian, Teejay, Jeff and Tony.
"I'm still talking to pretty much everyone," he revealed. "I've made some incredible friends, and I will be friends with these guys for a long, long time."
Carina and Paul started off as one of the strongest in the experiment, their relationship however faced some huge challenges along the way.
