The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Melissa Gorga's family is getting bigger and she's excited to meet the new addition.
Melissa Gorga's niece, Gianna, is pregnant again! Family means everything when it comes to the mom of three, especially in her relationship with her two sisters, Lysa and Kim, and their kids. This is why the The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom was so happy to learn that Gianna — who is her sister Lysa Simpson's daughter — was pregnant with her second child.
Gianna, who is also one of Melissa's godchildren, took to her TikTok account on Jan. 15, where she posted footage of Melissa's reaction to finding out the big news. Gianna had pulled Melissa into the bathroom during their family's Thanksgiving gathering, discussing the contents of the speech that Melissa gives every Thanksgiving, but Gianna had one vital piece of information to throw in there. "At the very, very, very, very end, the last sentence, I want you to tell everyone that I'm pregnant," she said.
Melissa reacted by screaming so loudly, giving her goddaughter a hug, throwing her hands up in the air, and then quickly covering her mouth. Melissa was then able to break the news for Gianna during the speech to mark their Thanksgiving feast in front of all of their family members. "I'm her godmother, therefore I will tell you all!" Melissa shouted as all of their family members wrapped Gianna in a hug.
Melissa then took to the comments of the TikTok post, where she reminisced on this very exciting day. "I love being able to do this!!!" she wrote. "Love you!!"
Gianna has since confirmed she's expecting a boy due in July 2025, and, yes, Melissa is excited. "Cannot wait to meet this beautiful baby," she commented on a post in early January.

That same day that Melissa broke the news on Nov. 29, she took to Instagram, where she posted a photo of her wearing the same exact outfit from the announcement video, standing next to her husband, Joe Gorga, and their oldest child, daughter Antonia Gorga. Melissa then posted another photo of her with her oldest son, Gino Gorga. Their youngest child, Joey Gorga, was missing from the photo series, but Melissa shared the love to all of her kids.
She must have been feeling sentimental about family that day, because she took to the caption of the post, where she expressed all of her gratitude for her loved ones. "Grateful is an understatement," she wrote. "My family makes me feel alive."
Months before, in April of 2024, Melissa shared how much Gianna, and her entire family, mean to her with a sweet family photo, adding, "Family - what else you got??"

Melissa and Joe took to their podcast, On Display, on Jan. 16, where they sang the praises of all three children. "When your kids become teenagers and you actually get to hang out with them, it's so great," Melissa said. "It's like you have built-in friends that you're most comfortable with."
Joe agreed. "I love it," he replied. "My boys and my daughter are my best friends. I don't care to be with anyone else but them. I could hang with them. They're funny, we're chill."
