Since MAFS Australia 2025 has finally wrapped up, now is a great time to catch up with someone who divided opinions: Veronica. She was matched with Eliot, who I think everyone will admit wasn’t a favourite character when the show first kicked off. But as his relationship with Veronica progressed, Eliot had an incredible arc, and by the end of it we were all firmly sat on the Eliot stan bus.
Veronica didn’t exactly come across well in the experiment. She was defensive with Eliot, showed a lack of empathy, and then there were of course all of those rumours about what *might* have gone down in partner swap week with Dave. But the show is highly edited, so we can’t really judge everything at face value.
In the meantime, Veronica and Eliot left the show – and here’s what she’s been up to since MAFS.
Veronica is firmly still not on good terms with MAFS groom Eliot
It’s very, very clear there is no love lost between Veronica and her MAFS groom Eliot. After the show, she posted a salty Instagram post, saying she was done with “lustful losers who lie and cheat”. Everyone was pretty sure she meant him. Veronica has notably not posted a single picture of them together from the experiment, either.
She also spoke to Glamour magazine, and doubled down that she and Eliot were a terrible match. “He [Eliot] would do things like praise me for keeping the apartment clean and for being super low-maintenance, but never asked me a personal question about my career, about my aspirations, about what’s important to me,” Veronica said.
“If you’re not with a supportive partner who values equality, values emotional support, values your freedom and and vice versa, your life will just be more difficult than it needs to be.”
She also made some strong hints that she doesn’t think Eliot is emotionally intelligent. Veronica added: “Emotional intelligence is the only thing I asked for…I just want someone who’s emotionally intelligent.”
But, Eliot is now dating Jamie, so I’m not really sure he cares.
She’s also beefing with the rest of the cast, and ‘doesn’t associate’ with them anymore
If you thought Veronica’s beef was limited to just Eliot, you’d be wrong. During a Q&A on Instagram, Veronica was asked quite matter of factly about her opinion of her fellow MAFS cast members. “How come you don’t associate with anyone from MAFS,” someone asked.
Veronica attached a picture of her with some other women. Assumably, the people she would *actually* call her friends and associates. “Drama disappears when you hang out with smarter and more thoughtful people,” she said. Ouch!
But, she has been sliding into the grooms’ DMs… apparently!
It’s been claimed Veronica has kept busy since MAFS Australia – messaging the other grooms. After the show, Beth was asked if any of the cast had been sliding into each other’s DMs. She said: “She’s not here… Veronica! I’m sure she’s been sliding into every husband’s but her own.”
Veronica clapped back, and under the video said: “Do you have receipts or are you just running your mouth? Asking for a friend.” Ouch.
Veronica has been travelling a lot
Aside from all the drama, Veronica has been living it up. She’s posted loads of pictures of herself in bikinis, travelling around and soaking up the sun. She shared a reel called “summer vibe” – which included boat trips, sunbathing and partying.
She’s spending a lot of time in the gym, and sharing her routines
Ahead of the experiment, Veronica worked as a personal trainer and an actress. It very much looks like since the show, she’s gone back to her work in the gym. She’s been posting workouts on Instagram, as well as some tips and advice for people.
