RHONY Preview: Erin Lichy Opens Up About her Marriage Woes While Dealing With Her Mother's Cancer Diagnosis

The Real Housewives of New York is back for season 15. While many fans are excited to see the ladies back on the air, some refuse to watch as they miss the original cast and their dynamics. Now, a new preview for the second episode shows Erin Lichy discussing problems in her marriage to Abe Lichy and also handling the emotional turmoil of her mother’s cancer diagnosis.

Many fans feel that RHONY is off to a strong start based on the first episode of the season. However, the ratings have come out, and as is the case with many shows, they represent a low for the franchise.

Bravo recently released a preview of episode two of the new season of RHONY. In it, fans can see Erin and her mother meeting up with Ubah Hassan at a high-end wig shop. While there, Erin opens up about recent issues in her marriage. She says, “We had like a thing. I don’t tell anyone.”

Erin continues, “I just needed him to be there for me this time, like with everything with my mom. He just piled it on. There’s sh** that, like, I didn’t know about.”

She goes on, “There were some decisions that Abe made without discussing it with me, but the problem was that the truth came out right in the middle of me dealing with my mom and everything that we’re going through. So, I wasn’t able to lean on him because he betrayed me, and I was furious with him.”

Erin then says, “It just added so much more stress.”

Ubah showed support to Erin in the preview as she discussed her marriage problems during this stressful time. However, she admits in her confessional that it’s hard to be as supportive as she wants to be as she doesn’t fully know what’s going on.

Despite this, Erin has recently insisted that she and her husband are going strong. The RHONY star recently responded to a fan’s concern about her marriage on Instagram. The fan asked, “Are you guys OK? I definitely care more than I should…”

Erin then reposted this on her Instagram Story and responded, “Yes, cutie.”

This is despite her cast bio for the season saying she’s forced to handle “unexpected issues with her husband, Abe.” Notably, they have been married for 12 years and have three kids.

Fans can watch RHONY season 15 on Tuesday nights on Bravo.
