Erin Lichy's Heartfelt Revelation: Unveiling Hidden Struggles with Husband Abe-quang

Erin confided her marriage problems to Ubah and explained how it's adding stress to her plate these days.

The Real Housewives of New York City’s Erin Lichy is going through a lot in Season 15, as her mother is going through health issues. But in an Episode 2 preview, Erin revealed that wasn’t the only stressor in her life.

“There were some decisions Abe made without discussing it with me,” Erin confided in Ubah Hassan as the two shopped for wigs with Erin’s mother.

What's going on with Erin and Abe Lichy?

Erin’s mother, Dorothy, joined her and Ubah to shop for a new look at a wig store. Erin also showed off her own new haircut — chopping off a few inches in honor of her mom.

“Last summer my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and she’s right now in her third week of chemo, so I just wanna be like, ‘Hey, we’re gonna have the same length hair. I’ll wear a wig with you,’” Erin said as she showed off her wig in her confessional. “I just want her to know I’m in this fight with her.”

As her mom was off trying on styles, Ubah asked Erin how she and Abe were doing.

“We had like a thing. I don’t tell anyone,” Erin confided as she teared up. “I just needed him to be there for me this summer. Like with everything with my mom. And I think that he just piled it on with this sh—t I didn’t know about.”

Erin explained more what happened in her marriage.

“The problem was that the truth came out right in the middle of me dealing with my mom,” she added. “Everything that we’re going through. So, I wasn’t able to lean on him, because he betrayed me, and I was furious with him, and it just added so much stress.”

Erin explained that all of that stress in her life only made her recent arguments that happened with Jenna and Brynn Whitfield worse.

Ubah was happy to lend an ear to her friend, but admitted she didn't know the specifics.

“I am here if she wants to share,” Ubah added in her confessional. “But it’s really hard to give advice when you don’t know the whole story.”

These days, Erin and Abe seem to be in a better spot. She posted several photos of them enjoying the summer together on Instagram, including posts that supported his DJ career.
