Erika Jayne and Jesse Solomon ‘Hooked Up’ After WWHL Appearance Last Week-quang

A source tells PEOPLE the pair first met at the NBC Upfronts in early May in New York City

Sparks flew between Erika Girardi and Jesse Solomon after the Wednesday, May 14 Watch What Happens Live taping.

After filming wrapped, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 53, and the Summer House star, 31, hooked up, a source tells PEOPLE.

“They met at rehearsal earlier this month for NBC Upfronts, and were seen getting cozy together at a private cocktail party the network threw for talent at the Mandarin Oriental,” the source says.

"They spent a lot of time talking together on a couch, off to themselves," an insider says. 

"It was the talk of the party,” the source adds. “You could definitely see there was a spark between them."

Solomon briefly dated his Summer House costar Lexi Wood while filming season 9 during the summer of 2024. Wood, 27, broke up with Solomon in the season’s penultimate episode, which aired on Wednesday, May 14.

“I’m looking for a relationship that's deep,” Wood said to him during the episode. “And I feel like you aren't ready for the relationship I'm looking for.”

Ahead of their breakup airing, Wood spoke to PEOPLE at the PEOPLE app launch party in New York City on Tuesday, April 29, explaining that their short-lived relationship "just got very messy and totally out of my control."

"It was a one-of-a-kind relationship, hopefully," she told PEOPLE. "Fingers crossed."

Meanwhile, the RHOBH star remains involved in an ongoing divorce from her estranged husband, Tom Girardi. Erika filed for divorce from the personal injury attorney in 2020, after 22 years of marriage.

Shortly thereafter, Tom's legal troubles began making headlines with multiple lawsuits, accusations of embezzlement and a bankruptcy case. Tom, now 85, was diagnosed with dementia and late-onset Alzheimer's in 2021.

In August 2024, a federal jury found Tom guilty on four counts of wire fraud.

Since Erika initially filed for divorce, she has stated on multiple occasions that she would “never” get married again. “I don't feel that that's where I'm at,” she said during an August 2024 appearance on the Two Ts in a Pod podcast.

In January 2025, she told The Daily Dish that she’s at a moment where it is "a time to be open and to have fun."
