Joe Warren-Plant has been inspired by the staff at the Woolpack in Emmerdale by joining the team at a local pub.
The actor, best known for his role as Jacob Gallagher in the ITV soap, is now busy working in the Yorkshire village and serving customers in Northern seaside town of Blackpool.
In new pictures obtained by The Sun, Joe – who is 22 years old – can be seen brushing up on his skill of pulling the perfect pint, and sporting curly hair, which Jacob often doesn’t wear.
‘He’s only just recently started working in the pub pulling pints for the last few weeks, he’s fairly new to it all and is being taught by other staff on what to do’, a source told the publication.
‘He’s still on screen in Emmerdale, so this is a little side line job to earn him some extra cash on the side.’
The source added: ‘Shocked punters couldn’t believe their eyes when they walked in to find him behind the bar serving them, but Joe is an ordinary boy from Blackpool.’
It is said that Joe knows the owner of the pub, and helps ‘out a bit’ when he ‘gets the chance’.
Joe has played Jacob in Emmerdale since 2010.
Most recently, Jacob was left utterly heartbroken when girlfriend Victoria (Isabel Hodgins) ended their relationship.
Prior to the breakup, Vic discovered Jacob had declined the opportunity to study in Berlin because he didn’t want to leave her for just over a month.
Fearing her life would eventually cause Jacob to feel trapped, Vic told him their relationship had come to an end.
A devastated Jacob then made his way to the shop and broke the news to Eric (Chris Chittell) and Leyla (Roxy Shahidi).
As Jacob nursed his broken heart, Pollard made his way over to see Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson). Wanting to get revenge, he told the businessman to sack Victoria from her role at The Hide, or he would tell everyone why Amit (Anil Goutam) really left the village.
