Ella Morgan has broken her silence on why she split from her ex Alex James Ali and admitted she 'faked how the relationship really was on social media' and 'portrayed it as perfect'.
The MAFS star, 30, met Alex during her stint on Celebs Go Dating last year but decided to call it quits after there were rumours of infidelity within their relationship.
She then put out a social statement in January confirming that they had split and it was 'time to focus on herself' but didn't disclose the reason why.
Now, in an appearance on Olivia Attwood's So Wrong It's Right podcast, Ella has finally lifted the lid on why they decided to call it quits and what it was really like behind closed doors.
She admitted: 'The relationship wasn't… look I don't want to bad mouth him too much but obviously there are allegations in the press that he'd cheated and was messaging other girls.
'I had some messages from some girls saying that my boyfriend at the time had been messaging them. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. If I'm completely honest… I don't want to talk about it too much and get upset because I am over it.'

Ella continued: 'The breakup was really hard because I was falling in love with him. I told him I loved him. I'm sad because I don't think I was treated very nicely.'
She went on to reveal that how it was presented on social media wasn't the reality and broke down in tears.
Compsoing her herself, the reality star explained: 'I have this built up anger towards him because I'm just like, at the age of 31 I finally fell in love with someone. Because obviously my life started later because of my transition and I couldn't be with anyone until I'd gone through my change.
'I guess I'm learning a lot of things that people learn when they're younger. My life couldn't start until I was happy with myself physically and mentally.
'So then to get my first boyfriend off the back of a show, who I then did fall in love with.
'You don't really know somebody properly until you spend a lot more time with them and I think I spent more time with him and I just did everything I could to make the relationship work but I knew for ages that It was over.
'I tried to call it a day and I just wanted to be with someone in an unhappy relationship rather than be on my own. But I'm so glad now that I'm single and on my own because I'm so much happier.'
She lifted the lid on how the relationship seemed online, with Ella and Alex being pictured at numerous events together and posting countless loved-up snaps.
The MAFS star candidly admitted: 'I'm disappointed in myself that I portrayed that my relationship was perfect. Everyone would come up to me and say 'Where's Alex?'

'I'll never do that again. Anyone that I date now whether they're in or out of the public eye, I won't do what I did with Alex in terms of being so public and I guess I'm not gonna lie to myself again if I see a red flag.
'I feel like there was pressure on me. Everyone just loved us together. My comments were always amazing, everyone loved seeing me happy because I think people were rooting for me but I will never be fake as s*** like that again.
'I think I faked that relationship, how it actually was, on social media, and I'll never do it again.'
In January, Ella set the record straight on their relationship and said that it's 'time to focus on myself.'
She penned: 'I've had a lot of questions over the last week or so regarding my relationship with Alex following the articles announcing we had split over Christmas. I was hoping to do this in my own time after the festive period so I could focus on spending time with my family.
'Unfortunately we made the decision to separate in December and I am so saddened by the decision, but it was the right thing to do to protect myself and ultimately, for us to both be happy.
'I'm incredibly grateful for @celebsgodating and the amazing team who introduced us.
'Since meeting in July, my time with Alex has helped me grow massively as a person and I know now what I want from a man in my next relationship. I'll cherish the memories we made. I wish Alex the very best.
'2025 is the time to focus on myself, and my career, and I can't wait! Thank you so much for all your continued love, and the support around the news. Love always, Ella x.'
