Edwin Arroyave shared an update on his wife Teddi Mellencamp after her recent brain surgery. Meanwhile, sources said the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star is continuing their divorce despite the diagnosis.
Doctors recently discovered multiple brain tumors after Teddi started having severe headaches. She underwent surgery on Wednesday to have some of the largest ones removed, and fans have been anxious to find out how she’s doing.
In the fall of 2024, Teddi filed for divorce from Edwin after 13 years of marriage. Though they’ve stayed amicable, the former couple spent Thanksgiving apart.
On his Instagram, Edwin shared an update after the surgery.
“So many people asking for updates. All I will say right now is surgery went well,” wrote Edwin. “That said, I’ve never seen [Teddi] in so much pain. She’s finally getting some needed rest. I know she is so grateful for the outpouring of love.”

Around the same time, sources told TMZ that the star is still following through with the divorce, but her health is the family’s top priority.
According to the insider, the children haven’t seen Teddi since the surgery, though the people who have talked to her since the procedure say she’s in a positive mindset.
Kyle Richards and Morgan Wade recently visited Teddi in the hospital to show their support.
In a February 12 Instagram post, Teddi opened up about the diagnosis.
“For the last several weeks I’ve been dealing with severe and debilitating headaches. Yesterday the pain was unbearable and required hospitalization … After a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on my brain, which they believe have been growing for at least [six months],” she wrote at the time. “Two of the tumors will be surgically removed today — the remaining smaller tumors will be dealt with via radiation at a later date.”
“I am blessed to be surrounded by my children, family, friends, doctors, nurses[,] and surgeons who are doing everything possible to get me back into better health,” she added. “Thank you to everybody who has reached out, and to everyone who has supported me along this journey.”
