Ed Kelce’s girlfriend, Maureen Maguire, laid to rest in somber funeral

Jason and Kylie Kelce put on a solemn display of support for the former NFL star’s father, Ed, while attending the funeral of his girlfriend, Maureen Maguire.

In photos obtained by Page Six on Thursday, Jason, 37, wore a blue button down shirt and black tie for the memorial at St. John Vianney Catholic church in Gladwyne, Penn. He carried a Starbucks cup and appeared gloomy alongside his wife Kylie, 33.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were unable to attend due to the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp in Missouri, where the tight end was pictured on the same day.

Ed Kelce’s longtime partner died at the age of 74, and he took to Facebook on Saturday to share her obituary.

According to the obituary — which did not list a cause of death — Maguire “passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones.”

“Maureen found joy in life’s simple pleasures,” the obit read.

“She loved the beach—especially the shore—and had a deep affection for dogs.”

Ed’s girlfriend also “grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch.”

“Together, they traveled often and attended football games and concerts, and embraced every opportunity to enjoy life to the fullest,” the obit added.

“She had a rare gift for making friends with strangers and making everyone around her feel special, seen, and welcomed,” the memorialization continued.

“Her presence had a way of turning ordinary moments into something memorable. Her kindness, wit, and gentle strength left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.”

The obit also noted that she was she was “famous for throwing the best parties, always full of warmth, laughter, and unforgettable food.”

Maguire is survived by three children, six grandchildren and a brother and sister.

Ed, 74, split from Travis and Jason’s mother Donna Kelce, 72, after nearly 25 years of marriage after their football star sons graduated from college.

Little is known about Ed’s relationship with Maguire, though Ed once shared that while posing with the “Blank Space” singer, 35, for a photo, Maguire joked, “Hey, that’s my boyfriend.”
