Eagles Voice Howard Eskin Gone With Alleged Reason Revealed - suong

In his heyday, Howard Eskin was known not just as a sideline reporter for the Philadelphia Eagles, but also as one of the first sports true media analysts in the city.

The host of the sports talk show station WIP in Philadelphia, Eskin's nearly 40-year career in the city came to an end over the last few weeks following further allegations against female employees.

Five months ago, Eskin was banned from Citizens Bank Park for attempting to give an unwanted kiss to a female employee of Aramark — a food and facility services company — in May.

Eskin promptly apologized for the event but returned to reporting on the other sports teams in Philadelphia.

That was until last week when the Philadelphia Inquirer unearthed the reason for the host's unceremonious exit from the radio station he helped start in the 1980s.

According to the Inquirer, Eskin allegedly “forcibly grabbed” a female employee from WIP during an argument on a remote broadcast in which the longtime radio host was seen talking to Eagles defensive end Brandon Graham but was interrupted because of that.

Eskin first notified the public of the "parting ways'' news with a social media post thanking the listeners who had followed his career through the 80s until today.

He was seen at the Eagles' home game—a 41-7 win over the Dallas Cowboys—in the stands and wearing a normal outfit for sideline reporters but was not allowed on the field.

Eskin has had previous run-ins with employees at WIP, but it appears his time has officially run out in the city of Brotherly Love. And a new chapter of Philadelphia media has begun.
