Eagles Star's Mom Breaks Silence After Taylor Swift Fans 'Attacked' Her Business - suong

While the lopsided scoreline may not have reflected it, Sunday's Super Bowl showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles was a relatively action-packed affair.

As a matter of fact, one contentious moment early in the game between Chiefs star Travis Kelce and Eagles safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson spilled over to social media after the hotly-contested game.

After a contentious play involving the two stars early in the game led to a bit of an on-field altercation, Gardner-Johnson decided to carry on with his smack-talking even after the Eagles dominated the Chiefs en route to a 40-22 win.

Gardner-Johnson took to Instagram to fire a shot at Kelce, implying that he should have stayed with his ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole instead of his current partner Taylor Swift.

Unsurprisingly, this did not sit well with Swifties, who have been known to be very protective of the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter. Swift fans on social media immediately turned on Gardner-Johnson for his blatant swipe at the couple.

So much so, that the Swifties even went after Gardner-Johnson's mom, Delatron Johnson, by bombarding her Florida restaurant with negative comments on crowd-sourced review website/app Yelp.

Delatron Johnson has now broken her silence amid the backlash. She spoke with TMZ Sports along with her husband Brian Johnson, as she shared her honest reaction to what has become quite a substantial issue.

“I have friends who were sending me the screenshots,” Delatron Johnson told TMZ. “They were going, ‘Oh my god, look at this!’ And the first thing everyone said was, 'The Swifties have attacked.’"

As it turns out, however, Delatron was not at all concerned by the negative feedback that was thrown in their direction.

“The joke is really on the Swifties and everybody that's entertaining the reviews because Kings Grill is closed," she said.

"... There's really no backlash to King's Grill because we are in the process of selling Kings Grill anyways. It didn’t affect us one way or another.”

Apparently, Swift fans missed the mark on this one. According to Delatron Johnson, the restaurant they were reviewing on Yelp isn't even open anymore.

However, whether or not this fact will deter Swifties from criticizing Gardner-Johnson and his family in whatever way they can remains to be seen.
