Eagles Legend Teases Comeback Dream for Super Bowl - suong

When Philadelphia Eagles defensive captain Brandon Graham first suffered his torn triceps injury back in late November, many fans and analysts thought the veteran played his last down of football for his career.

Now, that might not be the case.

As the Eagles have advanced to their second conference title game in three seasons, the Birds have opened up the possibility of Graham not only returning to play again but this season as well.

Provided the organization reached the Super Bowl, of course.

As the Eagles prepare for the Conference Championship matchup against the Washington Commanders, Graham has opened up the possibility of him returning to play this season for the Eagles for a potential Super Bowl matchup.

Speaking on WIP Tuesday morning, the longest-tenured Eagle and major sports figure in Philadelphia sports history made it clear that while a return is possible, he won't speak on anything moving forward.

He also made it clear that the team's focus is solely on the conference championship game at this point.

"We'll see," Graham responded when asked by NBC's John Clark.

Graham's return would be massive for the top defense in the league this year. It would allow the organization to rotate their edge rushers more than they have with a quality role player.

It would also happen to help in run defense as well.

Philadelphia needs to win on Sunday for this dream to even come close to happening. But if they do, it could mean the return of their longest-tenured star.
