Eagles bosses 'want Jalen Hurts to open up and be more outgoing' and feel the quarterback can 'isolate himself' - as pressure grows on star man amid Philadelphia's bad form - suong

'The Eagles want him to be authentic to himself, but they also need him to not isolate himself as much when a more outward leadership style is necessary, especially when the going gets tough,' McLane continued.

It comes after Hurts questioned how 'committed' his Philadelphia teammates are.

'I've been talking about execution all year,' he said in his post-game interview. 'Being on the same page, everyone being on the same page and we didn't execute.

'I don't think we're all committed enough. Ya know just got to turn it around, ya know it's a challenge that we have to embrace. Just continue to see it through.'

Hurts is the unquestioned starter for the Eagles, and the team has already clinched a playoff spot.

The Eagles are 10-4 overall and will jockey for postseason positioning in the final three weeks of the regular season.

While Philadelphia's three consecutive losses were all to teams who have .500 records or above, and far above in the case of the 49ers and Cowboys, its schedule lightens up for this home stretch

Two matchups against the New York Giants, who are 5-9, and one game against the 3-11 Arizona Cardinals separate the Eagles from a playoff game.
