The celebration for the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl LIX trophy may continue to go on, but one of their brightest stars has found a different mindset amidst the confetti and champagne.
Eagles star wide receiver A.J. Brown took to Instagram Wednesday detailing his own thought process following the organization's 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
And not everyone fully understands what he's saying.

“After a few days, I’ve had time to reflect on being a champion,” Brown wrote on Instagram. “I tried to feel how everyone made it seem to be a champion and unfortunately it was short lived ... two days to be exact lol.
“I’ve never been a champion at the highest level before but I thought my hard work would be justified by winning it all. It wasn’t. My thrill for this game comes when I dominate. It’s the Hunt that does it for me. It’s when the Db drops his head and surrender because he can’t F with me. The Intense battles. Early mornings. Late nights. Sacrifices. I love putting smiles on peoples faces, don’t get me wrong but it just wasn’t what I thought it would be. It’s the journey that I love the most. BACK 2 Work!”
Clearly Brown is making a point that while celebrating the team's second Super Bowl title is great, but the former Tennessee Titan is going back to work and looking to compete once again in the hopes of repeating this success.
It's not unlike any other top player in the league. If someone wants to be an all-time great, they need to practice like it early and often.
Not everyone felt that way, though.
Some fans and analysts believed Brown's post was more about his three-catch, 43-yard, one-touchdown game in Super Bowl LIX and how he had hoped he'd be more of a factor.
Those people may be searching for anything to talk about here, but Brown made it clear that the criticism surrounding him for wanting to be the best was a double-standard around the league.
"Brady always said his favorite ring was the next one," Brown said. "The double standard is crazy. Touch grass."
Brown is already quickly becoming an all-time great receiver - regardless of how some mindless weirdos on social media perceive his comments.
