Bachelor Nation Fans Campaign For Ilona Maher To Be On The Bachelorette
There’s quite a bit to love about DWTS Season 33 contestant Ilona Maher. On top of her fun personality, she’s incredibly body-positive and sincerely loves her fans.
Many Bachelor Nation fans agree that’s exactly what the franchise needs in a new lead.
“I 100% would be down for her bachelorette season,” a Redditor shared on the platform recently. They attached a clip of Ilona and Alan doing an interview after the Halloween Night episode.
In the clip, the interviewer asks if the Olympian could see herself as the next star of The Bachelorette.
“That’s what we were thinking!” Ilona excitedly declares, jumping up and down. “But I don’t know if I could do it, I don’t know, that’s too much.”
Alan talks over her and says “Yes!” and “I think you could do it!”
“But I will take that on. I will do that for America. I will date 30 men for American if that’s what you want to see,” Ilona jokes.

Plenty of other Reddit users said they’d love to see Ilona join Bachelor Nation. However, no one wanted to see her heart get broken. They only wanted it to happen if she could be guaranteed a happy ending.

After the Paris Olympics concluded, Ilona Maher became one of the most beloved American athletes. After showcasing her lovely personality on Dancing With The Stars, even more fans have fallen in love with her.
She hasn’t had much dating experience lately, but she’s keeping her options open.
“I was heading home from rehearsal, and I saw these people going out to bars, and I was like, ‘I’m young, I should be going out meeting people, talking to hot people,” the 28-year-old told PEOPLE but then noted the feeling faded fast. “I was like, ‘I’ve got to get to my couch, I’m tired, I’m doing too much.’”
