Drew Sidora isn’t here for the confusion surrounding her relationship with Dennis McKinley and she’s got the texts to prove it.
While co-hosting Page Six Radio with Danny Murphy, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star addressed the swirling rumors about her working with Dennis, who happens to be the ex of fellow RHOA cast member Porsha Williams.
The drama spilled over during Season 16, but Drew says the storyline that Porsha was blindsided just doesn’t add up.
“Porsha [said] that Dennis lied to you about telling her you guys were working together. Do we believe that or not?” Murphy asked.
Drew didn’t hesitate. “No, that absolutely is not true because we would be in the studio and Porsha would be on the phone,” she revealed.
She went on to say Porsha was fully tapped in. “She would tell us what songs were her favorite songs before we started filming.”
Drew also claimed she repeatedly tried to loop Porsha in. “I was calling Porsha and texting Porsha like, ‘I need to tell you something important,’” she said. “I have the receipts on my phone … they’re locked and loaded and ready for Andy [Cohen].”
She chalked up some of the distance to Porsha being booked and busy with then-husband Simon Guobadia. “She was off in Dubai and Nigeria and everywhere out of the country living her good African princess life, so she wasn’t checking for us.”
Even so, Drew said there was no tension before filming started. “When we did talk before we started to film, it was all good. She was like, ‘I know. I love the music. Let’s go hang out.’”
So when Porsha pulled the cold shoulder act at Shamea Morton’s birthday party, seen during the first episode of Season 16, Drew was stunned.
“I was like, ‘Well, we just talked like last week and two weeks before that,’” she said.
Drew, who’s in the middle of divorcing Ralph Pittman, has explained throughout the season that she and Dennis have been working on her new music together. That hasn’t sat well with Porsha, who straight up told Dennis she didn’t want him filming with Drew.
But if anyone’s confused about what really went down, Drew’s made it clear: “I have the receipts.”
