Erika Jayne reportedly made a shocking accusation against Kathy Hilton at the taping of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion that is expected to be revealed on the next episode.
Ahead of Wednesday’s conclusion of the three-part special, insiders are sharing that Erika claimed to have heard Kathy use a homophobic slur against someone amid their cast trip to Aspen earlier this year. But according to Kathy, who was previously accused by Lisa Rinna of threatening to destroy sister Kyle Richards and her family, she did no such thing.
On October 25, sources close to the situation told TMZ that Erika noted that Kathy had allegedly used the slur against somebody the cast had been around earlier this season. (One rumor in March suggested that the person Kathy potentially used the slur against may have been Sutton Stracke‘s assistant, but Sutton denied this report.) And unfortunately for curious viewers, the supposed incident was not filmed by Bravo.
Although Bravo reportedly investigated the situation through their production team after the RHOBH cast arrived back in Los Angeles from Aspen, they determined the claims made by Erika against Kathy were a case of “she said, she said.” Still, they reportedly kept the footage of Erika’s allegation in the upcoming episode, which features Kathy vehemently denying she ever used a slur and suggesting Erika is a liar.
As for the rest of the cast, the outlet said that several cast members defended Kathy against Erika’s claim as Kathy’s sister, Kyle, sat quietly next to her throughout the spat. As RHOBH fans have likely heard, Kathy and Kyle’s relationship has been strained since filming wrapped, with the ladies barely on speaking terms today.
Back in March, following the cast’s trip to Aspen, Real Housewives News revealed on Instagram that Erika and Kathy were no longer speaking following a “stunning allegation” made by Erika.
“Erika alleges that Kathy made a harsh slur against an employee off-camera,” the fan page stated, adding, “Kathy never faced Erika after she made the accusation and ceased filming with the group afterwards.”
And while Kyle may have remained silent at the reunion as claims against her sister were being spewed, she did address the “damaging lie” told about Kathy on a September episode of the RHOBH: After Show.
“Kathy and I didn’t speak for a while, but then we started speaking when some of the lies were coming out,” Kyle revealed. “I started reading lies in the tabloids. The things online that were said, that my sister said, were not said.”
“It said something about, ‘Oh, when he was moving Sutton’s luggage’ … He wasn’t even in Aspen,” Kyle explained, likely of the false report linking Sutton’s assistant to the rumor.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 reunion continues with part three tomorrow, Wednesday, October 26, at 8/7c on Bravo.
