Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley’s estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley was sued for missing payments on his home in a since-dismissed lawsuit years before the exes’ recent foreclosure drama, In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, PK, 57, and his then-wife, Loretta Kemsley, were sued by PNC Bank in June 2013.

PK married Dorit, 48, in May 2015. In the lawsuit, PNC Bank claimed PK and Loretta owned a home in Palm Beach County, Florida.

The suit accused the duo of defaulting on their mortgage payments in December 2012. As a result, the bank demanded $729,482, the full amount owed on the loan.

In November 2013, PK and Loretta asked for additional time to respond to the lawsuit. The duo said they were in the process of reinstating the mortgage at issue in the case. PNC Bank voluntarily dismissed the lawsuit in January 2014.

Back in November 2024, The Sun broke the story that Dorit and PK’s $7.5 million mansion in Encino, California, was in pre-foreclosure. The outlet claimed that the couple had missed four months of payments on their mortgage for the 7,100-square-foot mansion.

A notice of default was filed against the property on October 16, 2024, according to The Sun. The exes purchased the six-bedroom, seven-bathroom pad for $6,500,000 in 2019.

The issues come after Dorit and PK announced they were separating on May 9, 2024.

The couple released a statement that read, “We as a couple have been subject to a lot of speculation about our marriage. We have had our struggles over the last few years and continue to work through them as two people who love each other and share two amazing children together.”

They continued, “To safeguard our deep friendship and maintain a harmonious environment for our children we have made the mutual and difficult decision to take some time apart and reevaluate our relationship while we prioritize our children. We appreciate your love and support while we continue to do the work necessary throughout this journey. With love, Dorit and PK.”

Over the years, PK has faced various financial issues.

Back in 2022, the Vegas hotel Bellagio revealed PK had settled a 2019 judgment the casino had against him over a $3.6 million marker.

Bellagio sued PK in 2013 after he allegedly defaulted on a repayment plan that they had worked out.

On top of that, back in 2021, PK was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.

The reality star was accused of blowing a .081 during the Breathalyzer test, which is slightly above the legal limit of 0.8. At the station, PK reportedly blew a 0.73.

“He fully understands the danger of drinking and driving. And I think it’s a real lesson to everybody that even if you have a glass of wine, a lot of us think that you can still drive, you really can and you should take a driver. He’s assured me that he will never do it again,” Dorit said about the incident.

PK’s lawyer Alan Jackson spoke out after the arrest. “PK was stopped and cited on November 23 on suspicion of DUI,” Alan said. “While out with a business colleague, PK consumed a glass of wine with dinner.”

He added, “Following a traffic stop, it was determined that he may have been close to the legal limit. He regrets the fact he did not take alternate transportation home that evening. PK takes the allegations extremely seriously and fully cooperated with the authorities.”

PK was never charged over the incident.
