Dorit Kemsley is opening up about her separation from her estranged husband, Paul "PK" Kemsley, like never before. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member announced in May 2024 that she and PK had made the decision to take some time apart from their marriage. And now she is revealing what it would take for them to get back together.

Dorit appeared on Page Six's Virtual Reali-tea podcast on Wednesday, Nov. 13, where she spoke candidly about reconciling with her husband, who she was married to for nine years before separating. "I'll be honest, I think that in order for PK and I to consider reconciliation, we would have to do work," she explained. Dorit noted that she doesn't have an answer right now about whether or not she will get back together with PK.
"I think for PK and I to rush back into reconciliation, we would do ourselves a disservice because we got here," she explained. "And I think that the idea was to take some time apart to reassess to do the work and either come back stronger and better and sure or to find a way to make sure that communication is always at its best."
Dorit Kemsley says she still talks to PK Kemsley
The mom of two did reveal that she is still talking to PK and they even talked about his recent trip to Miami with Mauricio Umansky. But, she said that there is still work in their relationship that needs to be done for themselves and each other. "Because, regardless [of] whether we head to divorce, whether we head to reconciliation, whether we are best friends, I think that we need to remain amicable. We need to remain friends," she said.
"There's no reason why we shouldn't and why we can't," she continued. "I would like for that to get as strong as it can possibly get because it can withstand pressures and it can withstand things that kind of get in the mix.
Dorit Kemsley reveals PK Kemsley's reaction to her falling out with Kyle Richards
Dorit also shared PK's reaction to where she stands with Kyle Richards in the upcoming Season 14 of RHOBH amid their friendship issues.
"He said, 'I see what Kyle is doing,'" she explained. "So I think it's interesting when you're able to sort of look at things and watch how things play out. And that was just that. I think for him, much like for me, I would love for things to be the way they once were."
She shared a similar sentiment with Us Weekly recently when discussing her fallout from Kyle. "I did feel very abandoned by Kyle,” Dorit said. “There were a lot of things that were left unsaid from the reunion, and I was struggling with that because I really care about her and I considered her like family. But I can’t say that and mean it and not feel it and not feel like it’s reciprocated. There were a lot of things over a sustained period of time that led me to feel that way.”
Dorit added that she was disappointed that PK's friendship with Kyle's estranged husband Mauricio has been thriving while her friendship with Kyle has suffered. "I think it's sad how PK and Mau got stronger and stronger. Kyle and I got weaker," she told Page Six. "I never in a million years would have thought that."
