Dorinda Medley will soon be back to making it nice on TV thanks to the upcoming Season 3 premiere of The Traitors. Dorinda is a Real Housewives of New York legend who’s personally responsible for some of the show’s most quotable moments. It’s been a while since we’ve seen Dorinda on our screens, and we’re excited to see how she manages in a Scottish castle full of treacherous traitors.
While Dorinda is in full The Traitors mode these days, she’ll always be remembered for her time on RHONY. In a recent interview on Bravo’s “Hot Mic” podcast with Alex Baskin, Dorinda revealed whether or not she’s close with her old co-stars these days. And some of her answers might be shocking for OG fans.
Sonja Morgan is in her own world
During the podcast, Dorinda admitted that she speaks to Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps frequently. Despite her feuds with both stars in the past, her long history of friendship with both ladies brought them back together. “I can’t let a show break our relationship,” Dorinda said about Ramona. The RHONY ladies leaving TV was ultimately the best thing for their friendship dynamics.
However, she’s not as close to the lovable Sonja Morgan these days. “I don’t talk to Sonja so much, but I think Sonja doesn’t really talk to a lot of us so much,” Dorinda said. ” think Sonja really goes into her own world.” She added that Sonja still is bad at responding to texts from her co-stars, which she thinks is “odd.” But Dorinda gets that the RHONY OGs don’t live 10 blocks away from each other anymore, so times have changed. It’s sad to hear that it’s truly the end of an era.
