Dolores Catania Was Scammed By Her Stylist While Filming The Traitors-quang

Dolores stylist scam

Real Housewives of New Jersey‘s Dolores Catania was the victim of a scam during her time in The Traitors‘ castle.

On the first full episode of the By Order of the Faithfuls podcast, Dolo chats with her co-hosts Tamra Judge and Wells Adams about an unpleasant experience filming Peacock’s whodunit competition show.

Fit check:

Tamra wondered about the logistics of Dolores’s wardrobe, considering she made it to the end. “Did you run out of outfits?”

“No, I didn’t,” replied the RHONJ personality. “I was working with a stylist.”

Unfortunately for Dolores, her stylist was scamming her.

The plan was: “She would order things like on my credit card and like send it to me,” explained the RHONJ star. “That’s how you do it with stylist, right? And I kept calling her and I was like, where’s my stuff? Where’s my stuff?”

“Then, I realized that I had about $50,000 charged on my credit card. I never got one thing.”

Tamra asked if the stylist stole all of Dolo’s Scottish-themed attire. “So, she wanted tartan plaid outfits?”

“She wasn’t buying all tartan plaid. She was buying YSL leather bags and size extra small clothing, which I’m, on my best day, I’m not,” explained Dolores.

“I kept getting nervous. I was like, ‘Where’s my clothes?'”

“And I was getting a run around and run around. She’s like, ‘No, no, no, I’m packing everything in a box and I’m going to send it to you.’ That didn’t make sense because she lived in another place. I would have had to pay a tariff fine, taxes on it for being shipped.”

“So, just didn’t make sense for her not to send it directly to me. But, I was so busy.”

Dolores was tipped off by a hefty Sephora charge:

“When it started to become suspicious to me, I was going to bed one night and all these charges popped up on my phone and it was like $4,000 Revolve, $2,500 VarTech.”

“This is what caught my eye … Sephora, $900.”

“I’m a Beauty Pass member for New Beauty Magazine. I get new products sent to me every week for shipping and handling. I have beauty products up my ass.”

Dolores added, “I don’t go to Sephora.” So, she knew she was the victim of a scam.

Thankfully, AMEX reimbursed Dolores, “But it was a fight.” Dolo didn’t note what happened with her (assuming) then-stylist.
