Dolores Catania Throws Subtle Shade at RHONJ Costars, Denies She Was “Switzerland” on Show & Claims She’s “Done Things” for Castmates That “Nobody” Did for Her

Dolores Catania denied she was “Switzerland” on the Real Housewives of New Jersey, claimed she’s “done things” for castmates that “nobody” did for her, and she seemingly shaded her costars.

Throughout many seasons of the show, Dolores has maintained friendships with Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law Melissa Gorga – despite their on-off feud. While many fans praise Dolores for refusing to get dirty, others accuse her of riding the fence.

On the “Get Real with Kim D” podcast, Dolores clapped back at the claim that she’s “Switzerland.”

“Who’s Switzerland?” she asked. “I have stood there and stuck up and answered for my friends. And translated for my friends.”

“I have done things that nobody else has done for each other or me,” she went on. “And I’m the Switzerland one … but I can’t fight the world, and that’s what people wanted to peg me. Some f**king jerk-off blogger, however many years ago, [called me that] and it stuck. Guess what? Call me worse … There needs to be a neutral country to bring people together.”

At one point, she seemingly shaded certain costars.

“You know why I didn’t fight Switzerland? Because I’m not offended by it,” she said. “It’s better than being called what some other people are called.”

Earlier this month, Dolores revealed that she was hospitalized as doctors had to “shock” her “heart.”

“So [recently] my heart was beating out of my chest,” shared Dolores on the Two Ts In A Pod podcast. “It [felt like a] a flutter, it [felt] like a butterfly, and then it goes away. Well, it started to come more frequently… and then I got a pain from the middle of my chest to my shoulder when I was driving one day.”

“I was like, ‘That’s not right,’” she continued. “It wouldn’t go away, and I decided to go to a cardiologist.” Dolores said the cardiologist revealed she’s in “AFib.”

“AFib is atrial fibrillation … You’re a walking stroke. You can have a stroke,” she explained. “So many people just ignore that. So I’m telling everybody, if you get those flutters in your chest, go see a doctor … They kind of shock[ed my] heart and cauterize[d] it.”
