When asked about the key to a happy, long-lasting relationship, Dolores had a simple yet powerful answer: compromise. “I always said that it should be give and give equally, and I think sometimes you have to give in and the other person does too, it shouldn’t just be on one person,” she explained. She also touched on what she loves about Paulie, revealing that his Irish background and sense of humor are two of the traits she adores. “I like that he’s Irish. He’s from Dublin and he’s very good-looking. He’s cute. He’s funny,” Dolores Catania said with a smile.

Fans of the couple have been eagerly speculating about a potential proposal, but Dolores is taking a more relaxed approach to marriage. When asked if 2025 will see an engagement, Dolores made it clear that marriage isn’t her top priority right now. “No,” she said, laughing off the question. “It’s so funny because a lot of people are always talking about marriage. They want to see you get married. But that’s not my goal.”

Instead, Dolores Catania shared that her focus is on building a peaceful and loving relationship. “My goal is to be in a relationship that’s peaceful and loving and where you grow together,” she said, adding that marriage could come later if it feels right. “Maybe marriage comes along further down the road. I’ve been divorced for 26 years… I’m not against marriage, especially for younger women, but I’m older now and our lives are so easy the way things are going.”

While some may expect a proposal soon, Dolores is content with how things are going. “It’s a harmonious relationship. We get along, we’re happy. And as I say, if marriage comes along down the road then that’s fine and I’m sure I’ll be happy, but I’m okay with the way things are now too,” she reflected.
