When Austen Kroll decided to "clear the air" with Salley Carson about "boobgate" in the Southern Charm Season 10 finale, he didn't hesitate to name Taylor Ann Green as the person who brought the faux scandal to his attention. And, yes, Taylor still holds that against him.
To quickly recap, Austen jokingly asked Salley to show him her boobs during the Bahamas group trip and Salley later relayed the story to some of the other women in Charleston. When Taylor caught wind, she texted Austen as an FYI and — misinterpreting the situation — warned him that Salley was "trying to come for" his relationship with girlfriend Audrey.
On the Southern Charm After Show, Rodrigo Reyes began to give his opinion on Taylor "giving Austen a heads-up," when Taylor interjected, "And then him throwing me under the bus, yet again."
After Taylor added, "I'm never gonna give Austen a heads-up ever again," Rodrigo, who was present for what he called the "loose and funny" boob comments, chimed in, "Because now it turns into, like, you're being delusional because you have it out for Salley."
Austen Kroll defended his comments about Salley Carson’s boobs
Elsewhere on the After Show, Austen doubled down that what he said to Salley in the Bahamas was innocent and all in good fun.
"Salley was talking about getting a breast reduction, and I was like, 'Well, if this is like a last hurrah, let 'em out,' right? And that's how I took it," he said, adding that it wasn't like he "followed her into the bathroom," which he admitted "would be a problem."
Even so, Austen elaborated that he wanted to address the incident with Salley at Madison LeCroy and Ryan Albert’s summer soiree "to make sure" everything was good. As he put it, Salley "backed down immediately" and made clear that they're friends and she was "absolutely not upset" by anything he said.
Indeed, during their Southern Charm finale one-on-one, Salley confirmed that "everyone was talking about" her getting a breast reduction "in a very fun way." She told Austen, "It really wasn't a big deal" and added she didn't understand why Taylor was "trying to make it one."
Where Taylor and Salley stand today
After clashing over Gaston Rojas throughout Season 10, Salley and Taylor had agreed to "keep each other’s names out of [their mouths]." But, after her conversation with Austen, Salley confronted Taylor about violating the terms of their truce. Ultimately, Taylor walked away from the argument with them still not seeing eye to eye.
"Every time I try to talk to her, she runs away," Salley noted in a confessional. "How is anything ever going to be solved if you keep running away?"
Taylor, for her part, added in her own confessional, "We're never gonna be best friends. She was coming at me like a little chihuahua. It was like, 'Go away.'"
A sneak peek at the Southern Charm Season 10 reunion reveals that they apparently didn't make progress after the summer soiree either.
After Taylor yells that Salley "came in and leveraged my fractured friendship with the girls," the latter fires back, "You're still running your mouth about me today. You have nothing better going on in your life."
