Vanderpump Rules OG, Scheana Shay, declared, “I’m a Valley girl now” while chatting with guests on The TMZ Celebrity Bus Tour.
Did Scheana jump on the bus to soft launch her transfer from VPR to The Valley? Several fans think she did!
Scheana’s ‘pop up’ appearance:
Wearing a black sports bra, leggings, and a black hoodie, the Pump Rules personality boarded the bus full of tourists to tease her new living location.
“It’s been a minute. I’m not really in West Hollywood anymore,” explained Scheana.
“I’m a Valley girl now!” Scheana turned around to show off the back of her sweatshirt that stated, Valley Brat.
Fans were divided about Scheana’s possible shift to The Valley:
- well the valley was supposed to be the new vpr so it makes sense. Also they only got another season was bc of the scandal. So unless sheana and shawtz hooked up recently.. they got nothing
- The Valley doesn’t need Scheana or Lala- cast is great as is
- I’m excited for Scheana to join The Valley. She’s been friends with Janet for many years and she’s close to Brittany. She seems to hang out with women of the group even when not filming. I think it will be a more authentic Scheana.
What we know about the TMZ bus tour:
During an LA trip last month, Taste of Reality went on TMZ’s famous bus tour – for research, of course. While the focus of TMZ’s bus tour is focused more on legendary Los Angeles like the ‘Reg Bev Wil‘ from Pretty Woman and the home where Lyle and Erik Menendez murdered their parents, Jose and Kitty Menendez, the tour goes through West Hollywood.
WeHo = the center of the VanderVerse.
On The TMZ Celebrity Bus Tour, we drove by PUMP, TomTom, The Abbey, The Mondrian, Hotel Ziggy, and Something About Her. We even saw the exterior of the now-closed Villa Blanca. The only VPR locations not seen are Schwartz & Sandy’s and Jax’s Studio City. They are each about 15 minutes from this prime real estate, in opposite directions.
Things to consider:
The TMZ Celebrity Bus Tours are scheduled and routinely drive by the same locations at the same time of the day. There were several store owners who were outside waiting for the TMZ bus to drive by to hand out merch hoping to gain the tourists’s business.
Our five-star tour guide, Heneah, even teased possible celebrity appearances. While we didn’t have any celeb-spottings during our tour, it’s not uncommon for celebs to be spotted while out and about town. We were told just as often as the stars ask for privacy, others welcome the attention.
No Scheana Shayde:
I think it’s really smart to welcome ‘organic’ press like this. Scheana was spotted by the TMZ tour bus on Monday, September 23rd. On Mondays, the tours begin at 10:30am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 4pm, and 5pm. In other words, that’s five opportunities to get spotted by a tour bus full of people.
ICYMI, Scheana admitted to tipping the paps off in 2020. Of course, just because she did it four years ago doesn’t mean she still calls paparazzi on herself. I appreciated her ‘Lisa Rinna OWNING IT‘ by admitting to the obvious.
Not reality tv related, but I found this interesting …
On Charli XCX’s album Brat, there’s a line in the song, Rewind, that pertains to paparazzi presence. “I used to never feel embarrassed / When I call up the paparazzi / Everyone else does it constantly,” sings the British pop singer.
My point?
If Charli XCX (who has been popular for over a decade) is no stranger to calling the paps AND others in the pop music world are known to do it, why wouldn’t Scheana, or Heather Dubrow (allegedly!), etc. promote themselves this way?
