The Oscar winner posed with Maloney's mom at the Los Angeles sandwich shop on Thursday, June 6
Something About Her just came full circle.
Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix had a famous visitor at their sandwich shop who actually helped inspire its aesthetic: Diane Keaton!
Maloney posted to her Instagram Stories after the legendary actress stopped by the West Hollywood eatery on Thursday, June 6. The Vanderpump Rules star captured a cute moment between Keaton, 78, and Maloney’s mother, Teri.
Maloney, 37, and Madix, 38, labeled the menu items after rom-com leading ladies like Drew Barrymore, Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz and Keaton herself.
"The Diane,” which costs $16, consists of an Artisan baguette, Sicilian-style tuna salad with olive oil, sunflower microgreens, marinated fennel, preserved lemon and fresh dill.
Maloney did not reveal if Keaton ordered her namesake sandwich. "The incredible @diane_keaton just visited @somethingabouther," she simply wrote with three heart emojis.
Along with creating a menu with references to rom-com heroines, the co-owners also modeled their shop’s interior after director Nancy Meyers’ signature style.
The duo leaned into Meyers’ aesthetic so much so that they designed the space with designer Jon Hutman. He was the production designer on Meyers’ Something’s Gotta Give, which of course starred Keaton and Jack Nicholson.
The restaurant first opened on May 22, after a permitting issues and other logistics caused delays since Madix and Maloney first announced plans to open the shop in 2022. The women recently told PEOPLE that they never lost faith in each other.
“We both believed that it would always happen, that we were going to make it happen,” said Madix. “But there was definitely some moments of deep breathing at times when something else would pop up, and you just have to take a second.”
Along with Keaton, several Bravo stars have visited Something About Her including, Andy Cohen, Stassi Schroeder, and Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard, and Maloney’s ex-husband Vanderpump Rules costar Tom Schwartz.
