Former New York Rangers Center Filip Chytil has unfortunately had his season ended in Vancouver. Chytil is still in recovery from his battle with concussions, and it's once again plagued him in his new home.Filip Chytil

According to NHL Insider Vince Mercogliano, Center Filip Chytil of the Vancouver Canucks is done for the season.
Head Coach Rick Tocchet gave an update on the former Rangers forward who had battled through concussions last season, and kept him out of the lineup from November until the playoffs in 2024.
Chytil's missed the last eight games with the Canucks after taking a brutal hit from the Blackhawks Jason Dickinson in the third-period in a game against the team last month.

Vancouver Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet told reporters Tuesday that the «odds are against» the youngster returning to the lineup this season as he continues having good and bad days in his recovery from a concussion.

Chytil would only play ten regular-season games with the New York Rangers after suffering from an injury that kept him out of the lineup long-term.
The 25-year-old forward has had to push through and work around the concussions his entire career as a Blueshirt.
He's suffered through four that we can count.
But the question for Chytil, his Agent and his family is how many too many? Given that it took Jakub Voracek eight or more concussions until he decided to end his career.
If he doesn't take his safety seriously, this could be his path in the NHL.
Before suffering another injury in Vancouver, he's scored 6 points (2 goals, 4 assists) in 15 games after being acquired from the Rangers for JT Miller.
Is Filip Chytil's career practically over? Should it be?
