DeSean Jackson Predicts Winner of Commanders-Eagles NFC Championship Game - suong

The NFC Championship Game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders will be played on Sunday. The winner will secure a spot in Super Bowl LIX to face either the Buffalo Bills or Kansas City Chiefs.

Ever since the matchup was set, a flurry of big-name analysts and former players have predicted who would win.

One of the latest picks comes from former NFL wide receiver DeSean Jackson, who made it during an appearance on "Good Morning Football."

“This game, man, it’s definitely going to be a nailbitter,” he said. “I think it’s going to be closer than a lot of people think. Jayden Daniel’s having a heck of a year. Obviously, Jalen Hurt’s been struggling a little bit coming off of injuries, but I gotta roll with my Eagles.”

This likely could not have been an easy decision for Jackson because he had spent significant time with both teams during his playing career but saw much more success with Philadelphia.

He spent eight years in two different stints with the Eagles, accumulating 379 receptions, 6,512 yards, and three touchdowns. He also made three Pro Bowls while reaching the playoffs five times, including one NFC Championship appearance.

Jackson's time with Washington only lasted three years, racking up 142 receptions, 2,702 yards and 14 touchdowns while never advancing past the wild-card round.

He also made the safe choice with his prediction, as Philadelphia is currently favored by six points, per ESPN BET.
