It's crunch time for Danny Jones' marriage, with the McFly star now locked in crisis talks with his wife over fears yet another video could be leaked. The married singer, 38, has had the week from hell after he was spotted kissing Maura Higgins at a BRITs afterparty, with yet another video emerging of the pair enjoying a wild night of drinking at swanky Nobu Hotel in London until 6am.
And now a source close to Danny's camp tells the Mirror that Danny and his wife of 11 years, Georgia Horsley, are in crisis talks in a bid to save their marriage. It comes after Love Island bombshell Maura flew out to LA in a bid to flee the drama. They claim that it his high time that the McFly singer was "honest" - and publicly addresses what really happened between him and his former jungle campmate.
"Everyone would understand why Danny and his wife have been quiet", the source claims. "They are likely working through various discussions from the first video that was released alone. With this second video, Danny needs to now speak out."
They add: "Maura is getting a lot of the backlash, and Danny seems to be getting away with his actions as a husband who was supposed to have been in love with his wife for over a decade. Danny’s career should be halted at this point and he should be big enough to now speak out to everyone and explain what has happened and take some accountability."
"This is unfair on his wife, who seems to have put the family and their marriage first. Who knows if another video will emerge, but being honest is now the only way that this has a chance of resolving itself".
The Mirror has reached out to Danny and Georgia's reps for comment.
Maura, meanwhile, posted on Instagram on Sunday 8 March - her first post since the scandal erupted - that she was leaving London Heathrow for LA. Sharing a photo from inside the plane, she revealed she is travelling from London Heathrow to Los Angeles as she wrote on the image: "Exciting shoot" followed by a plane emoji.
The whole sorry saga began with a video of a boozy kiss between the I'm A Celebrity co-stars at the Universal Music BRITS afterparty, which swiftly went viral .At the time it was claimed the pair "seemed to be having a great time" at the afterparty. The source later added: "They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss."

The pair were later snapped smiling as they left the bash alongside their fellow former jungle campmate Oti Mabuse, as Danny then reportedly 'moved away' to speak to others, while Maura walked towards a chauffeur-driven car, while 'shouting Danny's name'.
It later emerged that married Danny, 38 and single Maura, 34 - who recently split from Strictly star Pete Wicks - had continued to party with jungle king Danny at exclusive London hotel Nobu until 6am, drinking wine together.
On Saturday, the Mirror revealed that Danny's behaviour has been a "slap in the face for Georgia”, whose own career has taken a backseat to Danny’s. When he was in the jungle, she broke down in tears saying her emotions had “come to a head” as she juggled a house move, solo parenting and work. She’s been an incredible partner to him so this feels very unfair,” our source said. “But Georgia is a strong woman, she won’t let it ruin what they have.”
In a recent episode of the Parenting Hell podcast, Danny joked to hosts Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe about going into the jungle, “I left my wife to move house all by herself. I’m surprised she’s still with me, to be honest.”
While social media sleuths scoured footage of Maura and Danny in the jungle looking for signs of chemistry, many fans have expressed concern. One wrote, “This is awful, his poor wife having to see this plastered over social media.” Another commented, “If this is true, then I feel sorry for his wife and disappointed in him.”
Indeed, it has emerged that Danny liked a sexy Insta picture of Maura's before their 'drunken kiss', as the Mail reports that the two I'm A Celeb co-stars 'kept in touch' and stayed connected on Instagram, following their time in the jungle. The snap in question was posted in January, of Maura in a black bra underneath a revealing leopard print dress, which the Irish star captioned 'Ravenous', posing with arms outstretched across a wooden table.
And it seems the admiration is mutual, as Maura has also 'liked' a series of Danny's Instagrams pics this year, commenting on one post of him performing on stage with a love heart emoji. According to a source in The Mail, most of the cast kept in touch with each other, but 'Maura had been complimentary towards Danny. Maura is friendly with everyone but, still, Danny is married and therefore the tone could be deemed inappropriate.'
The source also claimed that their now infamous meeting at the the Universal after party was pre-planned, as they joined fellow jungle campmates including Oti, 34, for a reunion - after which, neither Danny nor Maura have posted any updates on their social media.
