Danny Jones has hit headlines after he allegedly 'kissed' fellow I'm A Celeb star Maura Higgins, but his wife Georgia Horsley made an awkward confession about her husband long before the BRITS afterparty.
Speculation of a 'kiss' between the McFly star, 38, and former Love Island star Maura, 34, surfaced following the BRIT Awards on Saturday, 1 March. After the lavish event, the I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! pals were spotted leaving an afterparty together and reportedly shared a "drunken kiss".
In footage obtained by The Sun, Danny and Maura can be seen getting cosy, and a source later told the publication that they "seemed to be having a great time." They also claimed: "They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss." Danny's wife of over ten years, Georgia Horsley, with whom he shares seven-year-old son, Cooper, has been publically supported but it wasn't love at first sight for the couple.

The former Miss England model previously confessed that Danny didn't give off the best first impression. She said while on the Never Have I Ever Joel Dommett and Hannah Cooper podcast: "He was a bit of a d*ck, and I didn’t really like him." However, Danny was determined to win her approval as she said: "He tried for a year." Georgia continued: "I do like to drop that into conversation every now and again. He wanted me for a year."
"I said no. I was totally chilled when we went on the date. I didn't really want to. My mum went, 'Oh darling, what have you got to lose? Go on, go and enjoy yourself.'"
Revealing the reasons for her lack of enthusiasm, she recalled: "I said he's probably going to be a bit of a top shagger, isn't he? I just assumed. I treated him mean, kept him keen - without realising. I didn't know I was doing that." Georgia finally agreed to a date in 2009, and they got engaged in 2013.
The couple experienced a difficult period following Cooper's arrival in 2018. Speaking on the Made by Mammas podcast, she said: "Before, when Danny joined The Voice Kids, it was straight after I'd had Cooper. I'd given birth five days before and he had to go back to work, so I was left home alone." Danny has been on The Voice Kids from 2017 to 2023 before landing a permanent role as a judge on The Voice in 2024.
She also confessed that for a year, they couldn't have sex after welcoming their son. "We can't have had sex for a year at one stage because after you have your baby, you're healing, and after two months into getting pregnant, we didn't have sex," Georgia revealed.
Despite the setback, she went on to say: "We're a very touchy feely couple. He was alright, he got what he needed." Adding: "We are a very kissy and cuddly couple so we still had that intimacy."

Speaking further about the early stages of motherhood, she told OK! "After I had Cooper, it was only until I was out of the thick of it that I realised without a doubt that I’d had postnatal depression. But when I was in it, I wasn’t aware at all. It’s only when you start to see the light that you realise the darkness that you were in. You just coast through the early stages of motherhood. A lot of mums do and don’t really realise that’s what’s happening."
The former model has also openly spoken about the secret to their marriage, noting time apart as a good way to keep the spark alive. She told OK! "Something that’s really important for a successful marriage is time apart, it keeps the relationship fresh. We’ve always said that - as long as we’ve been together, we’ve always enjoyed our separate times because when we’ve reunited it’s even nicer.
"Communication is key, as well. It’s something we had to relearn after having a baby - it’s just constant resentment at the other partner for not doing enough, even though they are. But in the end it all comes together if you keep talking to each other."
During Danny's time on I'm A Celeb last year, Georgia shared her overwhelming experience, detailing the strain she faced while the McFly star was away braving the jungle's critters. Taking to social media, she wrote: "I was going into this New Year burnt out.

"Everything I didn't want to feel entering 2025... I felt. Over a month of solo parenting, moving house on my own, working hard on my career whilst Danny was in the jungle with snakes in his pants was A LOT!"
In search of respite, Georgia indulged in a rejuvenating solo retreat. She shared: "So whilst I was still in Australia I decided I needed to do something for me... a solo trip, one to push me out of my comfort zone but also one to give me the break I craved. So... I booked a little cabin in the middle of nowhere, somewhere near Shropshire, and found a little nugget of calm in my overwhelmed brain. I chopped fire wood, built fires, sat in silence, read books, slept, took in the views, watched the sheep in the nearby field... and it was perfect."
