Crystal Kung Minkoff pays her respects to actor, James Earl Jones.
On Monday, September 9, the famed voice actor who brought to life characters like Darth Vader and Mufasa, sadly passed away at the age of 93.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star took to Instagram to share her condolences.
“Rest in Power, Mr. Jones,” the entrepreneur began her caption on the throwback photo featuring Rob Minkoff and James Earl Jones.
“You made a young animator’s dream come true when you accepted the role of Mufasa. Thank you for all you have done for Rob. Your memory will live on.”
Rob Minkoff and Lion King
In 2007, Crystal married Hollywood animator and director Rob Minkoff. The couple have two children together, Max and Zoe.
Rob boats an impressive resume, directing cult classic such as The Lion King, Stuart Little, and The Haunted Mansion. Those films are just the tip of the iceberg with his involvement in Hollywood. Though the Minkoff’s have a life many can only dream of, they came across very mindful and demure on RHOBH.
Rob literally directed THE LION KING and I have to remind myself of it. That’a how “down to earth” the couple presented.
It’s truly is a bummer that Crystal’s time on RHOBH has come to an end. I know I’m in the minority with being sad she’s gone, but there’s just so much depth to her that we haven’t seen.
Similarly to Sutton Stracke and Kathy Hilton, her Rolodex runs deep with many famous friends and connections.
Pardon the pun, but we were “Rob”bed!
James Earl Jones’ cause of the death has yet to be released but what a wonderful legacy left behind. From The Sandlot to Coming to America, we thank him for providing an escape to us all!
