Craig Conover Talks Weight Loss, Health Changes Since Winter House

Craig Conover is back on the Charleston social scene—and fans are taking notice. After confirming on a recent podcast that he is currently single, the “Southern Charm” star was spotted out this week with “Bachelor” alum and Bravo newbie Salley Carson, co-star Austen Kroll, and one of Carson’s friends.

Just weeks earlier, Conover had revealed on “Watch What Happens Live” that he had been seeing someone—widely believed to be Natalie Buffet—but it now appears that relationship has either ended or become casual enough for the Bravo star to consider himself single.

Now that he’s back on the market, fans are buzzing after this latest sighting with Carson. Could friendship turn into something more? Here’s what we know.

According to a tip shared by Bravo and Cocktails, Craig Conover was recently seen dining at Darling Oyster Bar in Charleston with Austen Kroll, Salley Carson, and one of her friends. The outing quickly made waves online, with some fans speculating whether it was a potential double date.

Adding to the intrigue, the tipster also noted that Carson and her friend attended the opening of Conover’s Sewing Down South pop-up shop—a collaboration between the Bravo star’s lifestyle brand and Belk.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Conover and Carson have been linked. The pair were previously spotted having dinner together in New York City in February, which first sparked fan speculation about their relationship. Since then, many “Southern Charm” viewers have been hoping to see more of the two reality stars together.

While both Conover and Carson were in relationships during the filming of “Southern Charm” season 10, both romances ended after production wrapped. That timing has only fueled more curiosity about whether their friendship could evolve.

The ‘Southern Charm’ Co-Stars Are ‘Good Friends’—But the Door Is Open

Despite the fan buzz, Carson has made it clear that—for now—she and Conover are just friends. In an interview with The Daily Dish in February, Carson addressed the earlier New York dinner and shot down rumors that it was a date.

“It was not a date,” Carson said. “We had other people there with us. Me and Craig are good friends, and we’re becoming even closer friends now.”

However, Carson didn’t rule out the possibility of something more in the future. “I’m still getting to know him, so I can’t say if I would ever see him as [someone with] potential, but he’s hot as (expletive). So, the door is open,” she teased.

Interestingly, Carson also admitted she feels an even stronger personality connection with Kroll. “I do love Austen’s personality. I think me and Austen’s personality are very much more in sync than me and Craig’s. But Austen has a girlfriend, and I love his girlfriend. Respectfully.”

Meanwhile, Conover appears focused on moving forward after his split from Paige DeSorbo. On Watch What Happens Live, he told Andy Cohen, “I obviously was surprised when she left me. I think I’m just kind of focused on moving forward.”

As for his current love life? It seems like Conover is enjoying his freedom—and building friendships that may or may not turn into something more. For now, his outings with Carson are just adding fuel to the fan speculation.
