There's trouble in paradise on Season 10 of Southern Charm, and while only some of it has to do with Jarrett "JT" Thomas, his issues are affecting everybody else, too.
During Season 10, Episode 12 of the show, JT showed up late to the cast's trip to the Bahamas ... while in a fight with basically everyone there. And though he made some progress while in paradise, not every problem was solved. Fast-forward to the subsequent episode of the Southern Charm After Show, during which Craig Conover shared why he still wasn't happy with his fellow cast member (hence why, on the trip, he got up and walked away from one of the group's beachside dinners).
"If you're gonna join the trip, which we're more than welcome to have you on, then you should clear the air with some people," Craig said while reflecting on the Bahamas vacation. "The truth of the matter is, if you're gonna make accusations like this on camera [and] accuse people of infidelity, like, you know exactly what you're f--king doing."
Why Craig Conover and JT Thomas clashed in the Bahamas
Basically, the drama started over Craig's claims that JT previously called Patricia Altschul a "bitch." While JT says that it's a lie, Craig is still standing strong.
“I’m a lawyer. You think I'm gonna f--king lie when things are filmed? I also don't like to sit at tables where people only talk s--t about other people. I've made steps to not do that," Craig explained during the After Show.
What does the Southern Charm cast think about Craig and JT's argument?
As it turned out, the cast was fairly split on who they think is telling the truth about the Patricia drama.
"JT's consistently claimed that he did not say that and that he would never say that about someone,” Molly O'Connell said in her own After Show interview. “That’s what's so weird."
"I would see him saying it in a second,” added Salley Carson.
But Taylor Ann Green couldn't see him saying it, either. “From what I know about this guy and the way that his interactions are with his mom, I doubt that he would ever say something like this about a woman such as Miss Patricia. Or a woman in general. I would hope that he wouldn't just call women a bitch,” she noted.
Why didn't Venita Aspen defend JT at the dinner in the Bahamas?
As one of JT's only allies, Venita Aspen got blasted for not standing up for JT during the dinner ... but she had a good reason for staying quiet. "I didn't say anything because I was trying to read the room. I know JT has said time and time again, 'I can hold my own,'" she explained on the Southern Charm After Show.
The fashionista also made the point that she had been supporting him. After all, she's the one who encouraged him to come on the trip in the first place. “Who got you here? Who got you on that flight before you got to the Bahamas, because you didn't get on it? I didn't get on it because I didn't have a passport; You didn't get on it because you were afraid to get on it. Who got you on the flight? But I'm not speaking," she said.
