Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo are not breaking up any time soon. The Southern Charm cast member has been dating his Summer House girlfriend for three years, and they have been blissfully in love amid their long-distance relationship.
Any relationship in the public eye comes with rumors and speculation, including break-up gossip. But, in a new interview with The Daily Dish on December 6, Craig said he has no idea where the rumors came from, especially since he and Paige are stronger than ever. "I got asked about it last night, and I didn't even know," he admitted. "They were like, 'Are you guys being paid to break up or something?' And I was like, what do you — I think they could tell I was confused. And they're like, 'Oh, that's just a rumor.' And I was like, 'Well, I have no idea.'"
He went on to add, "I was like, 'I didn't do anything to start that rumor.' How was I supposed to know?" he asked.
Craig Conover says he and Paige DeSorbo see each other "every week"
Sure, the couple can't see each other every single day, as Craig lives in Charleston and Paige still lives in NYC. But, they are able to see each other as much as they can, he admitted to E! News.
"We're together like, every week," he said. "So no, Paige and I are not broken up. We're still together."
He also advised Southern Charm viewers to not take the rumors too seriously. Craig said, "Remember back in high school when people would gossip? Like, I got most dramatic in high school. I'm a huge gossiper, but just don't take everything so seriously."
When will Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo get engaged?
Although Craig and Paige have talked plenty about getting engaged in the future, Craig admitted to E! News that it isn't happening any time soon.
"I don't have a ring," he said. "I would like to one day."
Craig told People in an interview on Dec. 5 that he is taking his future with Paige seriously, which is why he decided to cut down on drinking, as seen in Southern Charm Season 10. "I had made a decision months before the season started to become more of a husband and father material than just the fun boyfriend," he said. "I could see it in Paige's eyes that she saw the person I could be."
In the meantime, Craig and Paige are both enjoying their lives in their separate cities. "I'm having a lot of fun challenging myself in New York City now," he told E! News. "The company's going really well in Charleston. I just don't wanna cut off everything that we're both doing. We're on these parallel paths and it's really exciting. I can't wait to see what she accomplishes."
