Craig Conover has found new love after breaking up with Paige DeSorbo

Craig Conover is taking his time with dating nearly three months after his split from Paige DeSorbo.

On February 17, 2025, the “Southern Charm” star appeared on the “Tamron Hall Show” and confirmed that he matched up with some women on a dating app but hasn’t messaged with any of them and isn’t sure if that’s how he will meet his future mate.

“I’m trying to move forward, so I downloaded a dating app, and it wasn’t what I –– I didn’t feel as good as I thought it would be,” Conover told Hall. “I just think for me, I think it’s about going back to my routine and living my life, and if I meet someone through that, then just go with it, but I’m not gonna overthink it.”

Conover, 37, revealed that he’s only had three serious girlfriends in his life and would only date women he thinks he could eventually marry.

According to People magazine, Conover made an appearance at an event at Ocean Casino Resort on February 14 and made a similar comment about dating apps. “I don’t think a dating app is for me,” he told the crowd. “I think I’m gonna meet someone out in a bar or in life.”

Craig Conover Wants to Find Someone He Can ‘Travel the World’ With

Speaking with Hall, Conover shot down social media speculation that he’ll be engaged or married within a year. “I think you should be together for a year-and-a-half to two years before you get engaged,” he said. “That’s just me. But I want to meet someone and travel the world, and I want to build a relationship with them before we bring kids into it.”

During an interview with Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap,” Conover reiterated that he hopes to find a woman who is able to travel with him. “I just want someone to travel with,” the Sewing Down South founder said. “Because I’m on the road so much now, and I’m fortunate that I can be very spontaneous with my time. And I think it would be fun to find someone to share that life with again.”

Craig Conover Wants to Raise His Future Family in Charleston

While he loves to travel, Conover also wants to set down roots.

One of his biggest problems when he was dating DeSorbo was that he lived in Charleston, South Carolina and she lived in New York City. While they did long distance for three years, they never agreed on where they would live should they marry and have children.

Conover admitted to Hall that after his split from DeSorbo, he realized that city life was not for him.

“You know, I love New York City, [but] I want to live at the beach and have a backyard, you know, a garden,” he said on the daytime talk show. “I go back to my house in Charleston and I’m like ‘This is where I want to raise kids.’”
