“Southern Charm” star Craig Conover is opening up about his November 2024 breakup from “Summer House” star Paige DeSorbo.
While speaking to Access Hollywood in February 2025, Conover said he is currently in the “gratitude stage” of his breakup.
“I have so much to be thankful for,” said Conover to the publication.
He then explained that he is grateful for his family, his health, and his career.
“It was okay to be sad for a while, but it’s like you’ve got to realize that you’re a fortunate person and just embrace it,” said Conover during the Access Hollywood interview.
In addition, he said while he does not know what his life is “going to look like,” he is choosing to believe “it’s going to work out.”
He also credited DeSorbo as helping him grow as an individual during their three-year-long relationship.
“I was a lot different than I was three years ago. A lot of that is because of my ex — I’m a better version of myself,” said Conover.

During a January 31 interview on “The Jason Show,” Conover said that he has connected with others following his split from DeSorbo. He said he believes his situation has helped Bravo fans who have gone through something similar.
“What I have found out that we all have gone through similar stuff. And I have found value in people being like ‘Okay, we’ve watched Craig go through his 20s and go through this,” said Conover during the interview. “And what’s going on now, it’s another thing where it’s like ‘Okay Craig got broken up with in his 30s, maybe it’s not so crazy that it’s happened to me.’ So that’s kind of the path that I’m trying to take now. And it helps me too because I get thousands of messages from people being like, ‘I got broken up with too.'”

During a January 31 interview on “The Jason Show,” Conover said that he has connected with others following his split from DeSorbo. He said he believes his situation has helped Bravo fans who have gone through something similar.
“What I have found out that we all have gone through similar stuff. And I have found value in people being like ‘Okay, we’ve watched Craig go through his 20s and go through this,” said Conover during the interview. “And what’s going on now, it’s another thing where it’s like ‘Okay Craig got broken up with in his 30s, maybe it’s not so crazy that it’s happened to me.’ So that’s kind of the path that I’m trying to take now. And it helps me too because I get thousands of messages from people being like, ‘I got broken up with too.'”
“Because they were such good friends. They had such a long relationship and such a history together,” said Batula to the publication.
In a different February 2025 Us Weekly interview, “Summer House” star Ciara Miller also suggested that Conover should have given DeSorbo more grace after she broke up with him. According to Miller, DeSorbo is the reason why his behavior changed for the better.
“I’m sorry but she did a lot of work to get him to this point where he is now. And whether he’ll give her credit or not — the Craig that we know now is not the Craig that we were dealing with three years ago,” said Miller to Us Weekly.
During a January 2025 interview on “Watch What Happens Live,” Conover stated that he never said DeSorbo was unfaithful. He also said he did not feel the need to address the cheating rumors because DeSorbo had ended the relationship.
